How you can help: Get Involved
The Lillian Recreational Park is always grateful for volunteers. In fact, we rely on them. We offer a variety of opportunties for limited, ongoing or "done in a day" types of volunteer activities.
Since the Park has no paid staff, we rely heavily on volunteers to help with events, to plan, and to maintain the gardens, among other things. If you are interested in helping with any of the following activities, we'd love to have you!

Market in the Park
Volunteers are needed to help with vendor arrangements, as well as set up and tear down. Market in the Park is held from 8-12 on the 3rd Saturday of the month, March through November.
Movies & Music in the Park
The Movies in the Park series is held monthly,May through October. If you're a movie or music buff, we'd love to have your help. Volunteers are needed for planning the pre-movie events, greeting people, activities, and set-up.
Fundraising Committee
The Park is not supported by any governmental entity, so we rely solely on community donations, corporate sponsorships and grants to operate the Park. If you would like to help us raise the funds for current activities or park improvements, we'd love to have your help!
Gardening
The Park is well-known for the beauty of our native azalea garden. Come share your green thumb and help us maintain them.
